Is Friday night supper provided?
No, there is no meal provided on Friday night. Please eat supper before you arrive. A small snack will be provided later in the evening.
What time does Anchor start and end?
Registration starts on Friday at 7pm (until 8:30pm). And the weekend will wrap up at lunch time on Sunday. Lunch provided for Sunday.
Are the rooms/cabins heated?
If you are designated to stay in a building, there will be heat. However, if you are placed in a outdoor cabin there will be no heater. Placements are not known to participants until arrival. You are more than welcome to bring along a heater for the cooler nights.
What Should I Bring?
• Bedding (be prepared for cold nights you will be sleeping outside in cabins) and pillow
• Weather appropriate clothes
• Your own soap, shampoo, etc
• Pen & paper
Clothing should be informal but modest: no short shorts or halter tops please.
ANCHOR is a cell-phone free weekend.
Why does Anchor need our health card information?
Anchor needs to have this information at hand in case of emergency. Your health card number is kept confidential.
Do you accommodate for dietary needs and/or allergies?

How do I register for Anchor
Register for Anchor online here. If you are unable to register online, paper copies of the registration form are available upon request by emailing email@example.com
How do I pay for Anchor?
Please send payment through e-transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are unable to e-transfer, cheques may also be sent to Marion Van den akker, at Anchor Ontario, c/o Marion van den Akker, 1178 Centre Rd, Hamilton ON, L8N 2Z7. Please make your cheque payable to Classis of Ontario. In the memo section of your cheque write ANCHOR and the names of the youth you are paying for. E-transfer is preferred.
Who do I write my cheque out to?
Please make it out to “Classis of Ontario”. In the memo section of your cheque write ANCHOR. Countryside Camp & Conference Center is the location, but does not deal with the money side of the retreat.
