The DISC program was excited to head out and go on their camping trip and enjoy some quality time together. Munchies enjoyed crafts, running games, worship and a carnival with the spec group. Spec were able to go canoeing, swimming, pottery making, planting flowers and the list goes on! More exciting activities are planned for the rest of the week and each program is excited to continue the journey set out for us. Daily Highlights (Thursday, July 4)

This week has been an incredible journey. From meal times to worship, games to pool time and more, each day is an adventure of it’s own! Highlights from today include canoeing, crafts, pool time, dancing, singing, and enjoying an incredible carnival! It’s so great to be able to minister to guests all week and not only impact their lives but our own (the staff) as well. Today, I was having a conversation with a Guest and he said, “Isn’t it wonderful?” So I asked “what do you mean?” and his reply was “camp is wonderful”. I just thought, wow! Camp truly is a wonderful place and its awesome to hear first hand how impact and meaningful we can be here at camp.

Looking forward to our last day, I’m happy to have spent so much time with the Guests and I’m excited to spend one more day with everyone! 🙂

Daily Highlights (Monday, July 1)

Hello all and happy Canada day! Today at camp we had an incredible day, packed full of great activities. We were able to worship God during power and praise, learn more about him during bible study, go hiking, swimming, and enjoy exciting crafts! A Guest mentioned to me today that its only Monday but shared that she was having such a great time and expressed how she is so excited for what the rest of the week brings us. How great is that? I am so excited to continue this journey we are on!
