Summer Camp Update & Refund Options

As we continue to follow the advice and guidance of Public Health officials and our local Governments regarding COVID-19, it is with great sadness we are announcing that we will not be able to run summer camp in 2020. With our camper’s safety as a top priority, we do not believe that it would be responsible to operate summer camp this year.

For the hundreds of campers who have already registered for this year and are looking forward to an amazing summer, WE WILL DELIVER!! Just a little later than we expected. Our theme for summer camp in 2021 is going to be BEST SUMMER EVER! We want you to be there!

Best Summer Ever

This crisis has had a significant impact on our ministry’s finances. In just March and April, we have lost around $168,000 of summer camp and rental income. We are also liable for around $140,000 of summer camp registration fees that have already come in for this summer. The off-season facility rental ministry that supports summer camp financially, as well as the loss of the summer itself, has definitely put stress on our organization financially. But God is not done with his ministry here and just like he has done for the last 50 years, he will continue to be faithful.

Refund Options

We are offering three options for refunds, as we understand everyone’s situation has been impacted differently. Everyone who is already registered for camp will need to fill out this secure form before May 15th to let us know which refund option you would like to choose. Please consider choosing option 1 or option 2. This will help our ministry as we prepare for many more years of life-changing summers.

Option 1: Deposit with Payment Plan for 2021
We want to see you next year for the BEST SUMMER EVER! But we need your help. Allow us to keep a deposit, then we will refund the rest of the money you have already paid and sign you up for an interest free monthly payment plan. This will lessen the amount of money that we need to refund and provide continual monthly income for our ministry. We will automatically register your camper for the same week and program in 2021. Your credit card will be automatically charged an equal amount, once a month, ending on June 15th, 2021. If you need to switch dates or cancel later on, don’t worry, we will waive all cancelation fees until June 15th, 2021.

Option 2: Full payment for 2021
We will register your camper for the same week and program in 2021 and carry the full registration fee from 2020 to 2021. If you need to switch to a different week or cancel later on, no problem, just give us a call and we can do that for you. By signing up for next year now, you will secure your spot for next year at this year’s price.

Option 3: Full Refund or Partial Refund with Donation
We will refund your full registration fee and waive our $50 cancelation fee. If you would like to leave all or a portion of your registration fee as a donation we would greatly appreciate it, and issue you a tax receipt. We will provide your refund in the same method that you paid (either credit card or check).

Cancel the Cancelation Fee

We want to see as many of you next year as possible so we have decided to waive all cancelation fees until June 15th, 2021. If you choose refund option 1 or 2 and something comes up later on and you need to cancel or switch to a different week, no problem, just give us a call or send us an email and we will be happy to do that for you.

Refer a Friend

We are also excited to be launching a new refer a friend discount! Carry your registration over to 2021, and then invite all of your friends to come with you. For every first-time camper that you refer, we will take $100 off your registration fee. Since this coming summer is going to be the BEST SUMMER EVER, it would be even better with a cabin full of your friends!

What’s Next

Due to the quantity of requests that we need to process, please allow up to 90 days for the refund options you chose to be processed. We will provide your refund in the same method that you paid (either credit card or check). You will receive a confirmation email with a receipt after we have processed your refund.
