Whether you’re looking to try something different or improve the skills you already have, Spec Sports gives you the chance to stay active and have a great time doing it.
One of the best things about Spec Sports is the small group size. With fewer campers, you’ll get plenty of one-on-one attention from our experienced coaches and instructors, who are focused on helping you grow and succeed at your own pace. Whether you’re just starting out or have been playing for years, our staff will tailor their instruction to meet your ability level, making sure you feel supported while having fun.
Spec Sports also encourages campers to build confidence, practice teamwork, and enjoy the fun of staying active with others. You’ll have the chance to bond with your fellow campers, challenge yourself in a variety of sports, and share in the excitement of learning something new.

SPEC Sports runs alongside our kid’s camp program. Campers will join the kids for some of the activities. This program is designed to accommodate our higher functioning guests who are looking for more of a challenge than our larger Special Support program has to offer.

Camp Shalom is dedicated to ensuring a safe stay for your loved one. We have emergency procedures for severe injuries, natural disasters, and fires, with two Health Care Coordinators and NLS lifeguards on site and our Staff undergo two weeks of training. We’re also just 15 minutes from a hospital.
Our top-notch staff is selected for their spiritual testimonies, life experiences, qualifications, and clean background checks. Campers are always supervised by staff, whether at the pool, during free time, or other activities.
