Summer Camp Theme 2016

The world is not as it was meant to be. Only a shadow remains of what was so perfect in the beginning.  But God is at work to redeem and transform this world, to establish his kingdom and we have a vital role to play in his plan. This summer we are going to turn the world upside down as we look at what Jesus meant when he said your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. What is God’s kingdom? What is heaven like?  How can we make earth more like heaven? We will be going through the Lord’s Prayer as we try to learn about how we can live differently to greater God’s kingdom here on earth and in our hearts.

Matt 6:9-13

This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
